Philip Treacy

Deborah has collaborated with Philip Treacy since studying together at the Royal College of Art. Her first studio was alongside Philip’s at Isabella Blow’s house on Elizabeth Street.

As well as designing special showpieces for his catwalk show at Paris Couture Week in 2001, Deborah has worked on couture pieces for most of his shows since 1990 and created one-off outfits for Grace Jones, including the silver beaded coat for her performance at the Philip Treacy tribute at the V&A in 2002. Between 2005 and 2006 Deborah worked with Philip to design the special Philip Treacy for Umbro sportswear collection. Throughout this time, Deborah and Philip have worked together on outfits for individual clients, most recently, the wedding dress for Isabella Blow’s niece Rosamund Dawes.

Deborah continues to work with Philip to create couture pieces for one-off projects and private clients.
